Everyone is super-slimming their notebooks and in this case Toshiba is set to launch their latest and rather small laptop – the Dynabook AX. It will come with a 12.1 inch display and have the following goodies: 1280 x 800 display, a 1.2GHz Core 2 Duo CPU, up to 3GB of RAM, a 128GB SSD or 160GB standard hard drive, 802.11b/g/n, and a handful of the expected ports.
It’s pretty expensive though – the price tag is set to €1200 (or around $1736), while the SSD model will clock in at a hefty €1930 ($2793). That’s pretty hefty for notebooks with such mediocre specs.
Set to be out on late October – I wouldn’t get one because of the price. |

LG is set to release their latest WWAN X110 Momo netbooks very very soon. The 10-inch screen netbooks will use the 1.6 GHz Atom processor. Most probably it would also run on Windows XP.
What makes the X110 Momo Netbooks special is the fact that it will be equipped with a built-in HSUPA modem and comes with a slightly reconfigured keyboard.
No word on the official release date yet. |

Everyone is racing to increase the number of megapixels in their camera and in this case, Samsung’s latest Pixon model will have a huge 8 megapixels packed into the tiny device.
The Pixon comes with a 3.2-inch touchscreen, 13.8-millimeter thin design, however although it is packed with so many megapixels, it is an Auto Focus camera – this is where things go down the drain. 8 megapixels should give you at least digital zoom function.
Expected to hit the European and Asian market pretty soon, it ships around mid-October. |

I’m always a big fan for Netgear’s products and of late, they have launched their latest WNR2000 Wireless-N Router. This router has a built-in DSL modem so that you can connect to any DSL networks.
Their WiFi module’s standards is a cool 802.11n and price for the router is anywhere between $89 and $129.
Anyone for Netgear’s latest WNR2000 Wireless-N Router? |
